DeskOS Privacy Policy
Effective September 13, 2026
Data collected by DeskOS
The DeskOS developer does not collect personal data, analytics, advertising identifiers, or diagnostic data from the app.
Data stored on your device
DeskOS stores workspace settings, notes, imported documents, browser history, website data, and cookies locally on your device so its features can work and website sessions can persist. You can remove this data by deleting content in DeskOS, clearing website data in Settings where available, or deleting the app.
Files and folders
DeskOS can access its own documents and files or folders you select through Apple's system file picker. DeskOS does not bypass iOS protections or access other apps' private files. A file leaves the device only when you choose to export, share, or upload it.
Websites and third-party services
The DeskOS browser and web shortcuts connect directly to websites you choose to visit. Those websites may collect information under their own privacy policies. DeskOS does not receive or control data that you submit directly to those websites.
Children's privacy
DeskOS does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The built-in browser provides unrestricted access to the web, so a parent or guardian should supervise a child's use.
Changes
This policy will be updated if DeskOS data practices change. The current effective date appears at the top of this page.
